The SC94 system allows data logging and simple control to be carried out easily, cheaply and reliably.

A local display unit is used for each variable to be logged.  This unit has two alarm levels, set by the user, to either blink the display or beep or both.  The alarm can be latched so the operator can tell if an alarm has occurred while the reactor was unattended.  The alarm can be set to trigger a relay, providing a simple safety feature e.g. power shut off on over-temperature.  The units can be daisy chained together and connected to a PC for real-time display and data analysis after the reaction has finished.

  Control of variables such as stirrer speed and vacuum is also possible.
